Their Love Story
In a bright and bustling college, not far from the sea,
Two freshmen met quite serendipitously.
Riley Palmer, curious and kind,
And Tony Mongiello, with a brilliant mind.
Their friend Sam Oliver (you'll see him at the altar!)
Made the grand introduction—he never did falter.
From the East Coast to the West they flew,
Taking trains, planes, and calls at half-past two.
They missed each other, yes, it's true—
But never missed a moment to say "I love you."
Years passed by in letters and flights,
In birthdays apart and late Sunday nights.
Until one day Riley moved to the golden state,
To live with Tony—some things are worth the wait.
Then came a birthday, thirty and grand,
A trip to New York, perfectly planned.
The Carlyle Hotel, where the doormen still smile,
Held a secret upstairs that made it all worthwhile.
With shaking hands and a heart full of grace,
Tony proposed in that beautiful place.
And Riley said yes, at long, long last—
To a future together, and the decades to pass.
